
Make your own stevia sugar at home
Ingredients
- Dried stevia leaves
- A blender, food processor, or mortar
- A jar or container
Directions
- Harvest and prepare the Leaves: harvest the stevia leaves from your plant. It’s best to pick them in the morning when their sweetness is at its peak. Wash the leaves thoroughly to remove dirt and impurities.. Dry the leaves.
- Grind the Leaves: once the leaves are completely dry, grind them into a fine powder using a food processor, or mortar. Remove any larger particles.
- Store the powdered stevia in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
Remember that stevia is 110–300 times sweeter than sugar, so adjust the amount accordingly in recipes.
